Great post. Number 2 and 3 speaks volumes to me. I think I truly understood number 3 not too long ago after being screwed. At least by taking your advice, there will not be many surprises when performance reviews roll around. Making mistakes is critical since it helps you grow as long as you dont keep making the same mistakes.</description>

I do find that I communicate and relate to my team and coaching clients much better in the cases where I have made the same mistake that they are currently making.  I guess that would imply that the more mistakes I have made, the more valuable I have become!</description>
