Personal Branding MagazineAs a follower of my blog, you know that my mission is to help as many people as possible accelerate their career success. Without a doubt, you will not be able to accelerate your career success unless you pay significant attention to building and managing your personal brand. Recently the concept of personal branding has received tremendous press and a great deal of the credit for that goes to personal branding pioneer Dan Schawbel. If you haven’t read Dan’s book Me 2.0, get on Amazon and order a copy quickly. He provides more practical and effective advice in 235 pages than in any book I have read in years. Additionally, I find Dan’s blog to be one of the most valuable resources on the web.  But that is not why I am writing today.

I am writing because I was lucky enough to preview the latest issue of Dan’s Personal Branding Magazine and it is yet another fantastic resource yet on personal branding. The issue is dedicated to “Becoming the Heavyweight Champion of Your Niche” and features Evander Holyfield.    You will be gripped by Evander’s story of how he forgave Mike Tyson for the infamous ear biting incident, but more importantly you will be entertained and educated by Evander’s personal branding philosophy as well as other great articles such as:

  • How to Find Hidden Job Opportunities on Google by Jim Stroud
  • How to Dominate and Own the SERPs for Your Personal Brand by Donna Fontenot
  • Perceived as “Yet Another” in Your Field? by Vikram Rajan
  • How to Become THE Number One Resource in Your Field by Ivana Taylor and
  • From “D” List Dude to “A” List Star by Liz Pabon

Check out a free sample of this issue; you won’t be disappointed.   I highly encourage you to purchase a subscription to see the full issue of this and future issues.   Note that 50% of the proceeds from Personal Branding Magazine go to The American Cancer Society, which is a very important cause for me.

Good luck and as always Act As If It Were Impossible to Fail!
